Old wives tales you plan on / are using to help induce labor?

Yes yes I know ppl want to comment and say let it happen naturally (which it will no matter what) I just find hearing about old wives tales fun as I did quite a few out when TTC
What are you are some old wives tales you’re wanting to put to the test when it’s close to baby time? Or something you could have swore worked for you before!

I'm drinking raspberry tea like its water... not sure what itll actually do but why not? Lol I heard it's supposed to help with an easier delivery.

So far I’ve been eating 6 dates a day, drinking raspberry leaf tea, sitting on a ball at work, exercise (squats every day but I’ve also been exercising my whole pregnancy). I agree that labor will start when the body is ready but I like the thought of these things helping me with labor and delivery!

I swear by sex! In my first pregnancy i was SO DONE!! I had gone to the doctor at 39 weeks exactly and wasnt dilated at all. That night i told hubby to screw my brains out. Literally. The next day i woke up with co tactions five minutes apart so we went to the hospital. I ended up being sent hone because it wasnt active labor. So we went home and had sex again. 20 minutes later my water broke.

A lot of people will say red raspberry leaf tea/dates/evening primrose oil however, these are only used to help aid in labor...not actually to induce you.

I did the tea, pineapple, clarey sage oil, bounce on a ball, and evening primrose oil with my first and was induced at 40+3. Don't plan on doing much this time but the ball and sex. Once I was induced I had intense labor, like I only remember 10 minutes of the 14 hours, so I don't know if it was everything I had done or just my baby's position.

I did nothing besides had sex with my husband and most of the time I was laying around. So I didn’t do much and I had my baby at 37 weeks.
