What are y’all using for postpartum...?

Are y’all going to pack some depends, use the hospital mesh underwear, granny panties with pads, or a combination?

Combo of it all until I figure out what I like, everyone I talk to swears by something different so I’ve gotten a bit of everything. Will just use the hospital provided mesh panties and pads while I’m there though

I personally hated depends but I think I’ll use them again anyway, with padsicles for the first few days. After the first few days I’ll switch to just pads. I used always infinity heavy overnight pads and they were nice because they’re very thin but still very absorbent. 
For soothing, earth mama perineal balm is AMAZING. Truly so soothing for your sore and itchy parts in those first few days. 
I made my padsicles just with thayers alcohol free witch hazel. The liquid you add to padsicles really is just to make it cold and soothing so if you don’t feel like doing the whole aloe/essential oil thing, I don’t think you have to. 
Other than those, I’ll be using earth mama nipple butter for my boobies.

Everyone’s different but I hate how pads feel. Even regular pads I find so uncomfortable, they bunch up and shift and never feel right. I tried the depends with my first and they were soooo comfy! I stayed in them until I only needed a small pad at night and panty liners during the day. Best bet is to have a couple things to try out and see what feels right for you.

Awesome! I was reading online on Amazon and the reviews for the new depends were not that great. I think I’ll go with the Always discrete underwear 🤷🏼‍♀️. Thank you for the advice!

Honestly the mesh underwear did not cut it for me this pregnancy I’m wearing the always discreet underwear with the large pad inside and I also plan to use the hospital pads as well

This is my first so I have no clue what to do... but I’m planning to buy Always Discrete as well as some massive overnight pads.  I’ll probably buy some panties that are larger that my size as well to use with pads.  Let’s hope those heavy bleeding days pass quickly!!

Doing the combo thing. Using the free stuff at the hospital, but also bringing depends. I’ll use the depends for a few days and then huge undies and pads. I didn’t want to wear the depends last time, but then they ended up being so much easier to deal with.

This is my 6th baby and I’ll be granny panties and pads like I did with all my other post birth! Always makes really heavy duty night pads that work great!

I think I'm gonna go for the hospital mesh underwear, but also bring some pads and see what I like better.
