Why don’t more people talk about Leap 5?

My babies are train wrecks right now going through Leap 5. In Leap 4, they didn’t sleep well, but this one, good lord. They’ll wake up HYSTERICAL and scream only to eventually fall back to sleep. And they haven’t fought sleep like this since they were newborns. No one is sleeping longer than 3 hour stretches and we’re all pretty miserable. I’m not sure how long this is supposed to last but my babes are 27 weeks and 2 days. Please send prayer. 😩😴

I’d be happy with a 3 hour sleep. My baby wakes up hourlyfor the last 3 weeks.

We are out of leap 5 and she is still hard to put to sleep and her naps are extremely short.

We’re also out of leap 5 and he’s super cranky still. And waking every 2-3 hours at night. He just wants to be held and play night and day.

Omg! I'm sad to say...but I feel better knowing I'm not the only one. He won't sleep long and even if he sleeps with me he tosses and turns! Even keeping him on his bed time schedule doesn't do anything.

I'm sorry to hear that. My little guy has been fine in this leap BUT he has developed night terrors. Maybe once or twice a week he will wake me up completely terrified and clearly still sleeping. I can tell by his cry that it is a night terrors.  Otherwise this leap was nothing compared to 4!

I hate that we’re all going through this, but glad to know it’s kind of normal. Any breastfed babies cluster-feeding during all this too?

Same. I don’t know what is going on. We had two nights where our LO went down ok and slept for 10+ hours and then three rest of the week she refused to be laid down in her bed. We do the same bedtime routine every night. Her naps vary in the day but I don’t think that’s any correlation to how she sleeps at night. Plus she just has been super whiny and fussy. If it’s teething I’m not sure- I tried giving her Tylenol but I don’t know. Why are some nights so good and other nights are miserable?? 😤

Yeah we’re having a hard time too I feel like I’ve just accepted that this is my life now 😩  currently my baby has been asleep  for barley two hours and has woken up 4 times   already...I don’t know what to do anymore.
