I’m 21, so my doctor wants me to get a Pap smear. The problem is that a couple months ago I saw a different doctor for nausea and she ended up doing a pelvic exam. I had told her that I was a virgin and had never had anything apart from a tampon down there. She told that it might hurt a little, gave a quick 123 and shoved it in. It was excruciating. I told her the entire time that it hurt. I was tearing up and everything. She said kept repeating that she was almost done. So I’m really scared to get a Pap smear. Is it normally like that or is it not usually a major issue?
