Taking my tips out of my check!
Is it legal for the company I work for to take my tips out of my paycheck....
Ex: I worked 42.40 Hrs so my check should be 384.64 before taxes....
The amount taken out for taxes is 29.42.
So my check should have been 355.22 but the company subtracted my $7.50 in tips.
So my check came out to 347.72
Is that legal? Should I just refuse tips?
