Which birth control is a better choice?

I had my son Monday and my doctor told me to decide what form of birth control I would like to be put on when I go to my 6 week check up.

I'm opting for the minipill again. I used it with my first two with no issues...no supply or breastfeeding problems and we didn't get pregnant until I stopped taking the pill when we were ready to try for another.

I'm on the nexplanon and love it! It's the little implant that goes into your arm and lasts 3 years. I don't feel it and you can't see a thing unless your really looking for it!

I was set on mirena but then heard that it causes weight gain or makes it nearly impossible to lose weight. Has this happened to anyone? I suppose I'll just opt for the pill again

I think it's personal preference. Perosnally, I prefer the shot, but not everyone agrees with it.

I was on the ring prior to getting off to try for baby. Loved it. So easy and no pill to remember every day. But less invasive than an iud.
