When did you start buying baby items?

I’m 23 weeks and I’m scared to go shopping ... I’m thinking is too early? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I started at about 14 weeks because I’m the type that has to be overprepared and I was just too excited.

I didnt want to buy anything too early either so in second trimester i bought things like travel system/cribs/sanitiser only if it was on sale. Clothes and everything else i bought in 3rd trimester

24 weeks of the first viability marker if that makes you feel better. Most babies born after 24 weeks can be saved now.

I bought stuff (mostly clothes) years ago before I even started trying. But since I’ve been pregnant we only started buying stuff last week when I was 18 weeks.

Immediately after getting my bfp at 9dpo.  I hade everything I needed excel my breast pump by 14 weeks.

I waited until after my anatomy scan so I knew I gender and by that point I felt comfortable buying things. I think I might have bought a couple boxes of diapers before that.

Before TTC. With both pregnancies. I consignment shop for everything and the sales happen in March and September so I go get what I need then. In fact the day of this consignment sale in September I had gotten a vvfl on a cheapie and after the sale I stopped at the store and got an FRER and got my positive. I grabbed a new bassinet at the sale that day for $15 for this baby. 
I don’t believe in jinxing things really so for me it’s all about practicality and spreading the costs around. Also when I find a good deal or something for free (got a free double jogging stroller for free this summer!) I snap it up.
