What’s “average”?
I think I’m setting my expectations too high in terms of how much milk I can get pumping.
I breastfeed my bubs for all her day feeds and at night I try to express a bottle for my partner to help. I also try to express a bottle for if we go out as I don’t feel comfortable breast feeding in all public places.
I’m averaging about 2oz with a double pump (1 from each breast). Does this sound about ‘average’? I feel like I should get more but at the same time knowing baby’s eat around 25oz per day and I’m still breastfeeding her that is it technically realistic.
I wanted to try and build a supply so I can get a little ahead but I feel like each time I pump it’s for a specific feed
