About to be 36 weeks.. do you guys feel comfortable going out by yourselves being so close?

Tania

I love my Independence but I do find it a little bit scary you could say to be out and about by myself anybody else or it's just me I try to keep company even if it's one of my kids with me now that I'm so close of giving birth don't want something to happen to me and I'm all alone in the street even though I drive I just never know

I have a 2 year old and feel like on a personal level. If I go get gas without him it’s like a damn party in my car!😂

I’m not worried. I feel like everyone is extra concerned about you when you’re pregnant, at least here (Germany). So I know someone would help if it was necessary. One time when I was pregnant with my first I got dizzy and just had to sit down on the sidewalk and every single person that came by asked if I needed help, an ambulance, water etc.

Aww. That is so comforting to know that the community that you are at is willing to help unfortunately there's things that happened not necessarily here where I live but here in the states where there has been women that have gotten abducted pregnant and their last week's and they have taken their babies out of their room before time and I know it's a long shot but I always have that behind my head so I try to have somebody till a company to me

I go a lot of places by myself lol. Even dr appointments cause most time SO is working. I’ve still been taking my son to his baseball games by myself every Saturday too (his dad works Saturdays) 🤷🏾‍♀️ I know that when the contractions starts it’s not going to hit me that hard that soon.

I’m 38 weeks pregnant and I still run around and do errands. I have everything already in my car just in case my water breaks.

Depends on where I’m going and how long I’ll be gone for. Work and errands I don’t mind. As long as my hubby’s in town - but his job takes him out of town on a daily basis so every day I’m like “How far away are you today?” 😂 😅

I don't mind going out alone as long as it's not too far from my house. I take my dog for a half hour walk every weekday (my fiance and I take him to the dog park on the weekends). I've had to take the bus a few times to my doctor's appts because my fiance works weekdays, but luckily now my close friend is back in town and willing to drive me. I'd drive myself but my Braxton Hicks are really intense and distracting and it makes me nervous to drive.

I still go out alone but try to stay local. It’s my husband that wants me to stay home at all times just in case I pop 😂 I was gonna go grocery shopping just now but he insisted to do it. Can’t complain haha 🤷🏽‍♀️

I go places alone, I’m 37+4. I just don’t go anywhere too far from home/hospital just in case.
