Yeast infection TMI

So Im pretty sure I have a yeast infection and I told my doctor but she hasn’t gotten back to me yet. So I just have a few questions because I have never gotten one before. Is it normal to have skin tag looking bumps like by your clitoris ? And I have really bad itching all the way inside my vagina. Also has anyone tried the coconut inside your vagina, has it worked? Need help ASAP:/ its very irritating. And also my boyfriend might have it too since we did have sex recently but that’s the day I found out I might have a yeast infection since my symptoms started happening right after the sex.
