IUD to Pills

Hi everyone!

I just got back from my gynecologist and had my Skyla IUD removed. Prior to getting the Skyla 2 months ago, I was on the pill for 5 years. Now that I don’t have the Skyla my gyno put me on a pill immediately starting tonight. I’m just curious to know if I need to wait a specific amount of time before I start having sex again? I don’t think so, since it’s not like I won’t have any birth control in my system. But I just wanted to make sure that I’m right (or wrong😋). Also, yes, I know I should have asked my gynecologist but I am sick and super out of it so it did not even cross my mind when I was there. 😭
