So my daughter came exactly a week late from her due date. I'm currently 35 weeks with her little brother and am getting nervous. I'm living in a separate province from any of my family (3 days driving or an expensive flight) and haven't been able to make any friends in the area due to only having one vehicle and my husband needing it for work.

My due date with the boy is Nov 24th and my mom has booked a flight down on Nov 16th. Apparently my oldest sister was also late and my oldest brother right after her was 3 weeks early. My husband is currently on a course with his job and can't miss a day without having to completely re-take the course after his parental leave.

So basically, if I go into labour early, we'll have no one to watch our 20 month old daughter so my husband will have to be in the waiting room with her, leaving me alone to give birth. The airport that my mom is flying into is an hour away from the hospital, so even of she manages to get a flight it would take a long time to get here (2 stops) and if I go into labour on a weekday, he'll either have to miss the day and re-do the course or maybe try and find some emergency daycare nearby for her and still leave me alone to go to work.

I'm a little bit stressed about it, especially since I know second pregnancies can go faster. I have my next appt on Tuesday so we'll see what the obgyn has to say. Give me some hope.
