Cystic areas in placenta
So I had my 20 week anatomy scan last week and the doctor said everything looked great. I do have to go back in a month to get a better view of baby's face, just because of positioning. I went on my account to review my "after visit summary" and it said there were cystic areas in the placenta and increased vascularity at the placental border. What does this mean?? Why didnt my doctor mention it?
