What is considered a interracial relationship, if said couple are of?

I've been told I was in a interracial relationship due to me being from Jamaica while also passing for mixed and my boyfriend being from england and Nigeria, we both share being black so I don't agree.
What do you guys think, Caribbean culture and African culture and white culture is all a different mix.

Interracial means people of two different races. Now if you’re mixed (let’s say black and white) and date someone who is fully black or fully white I’d still consider that an interracial relationship but two white, two black, or two Asian people from different countries aren’t the same thing.

I hate the word "interracial." How do you determine where one race ends and another begins? I know it's cheesy, but I agree with the saying that there is only one race: the human race. Technically your relationship doesn't count as interracial I would say, but you certainly have to encounter a lot of cultural differences I am sure. Intercultural, interethnic, international--these are all easily definable relationships and cause more of an issue than being of different "races."

I am in an interracial relationship, but for us it’s clean cut - I am white, from Serbia, he is brown(ish)/asian from India. Two races, two countries. However, lots of times it’s not that clear, so when not, I’d say two races, because interRACIAL, not international, intercultural etc.

I think it means different ETHNICITIES (race/bloodline). Not different NATIONALITIES (location of origin). Because as an example you can be born in africa but white. Or you can be black and born in Japan. You are Japanese but nationality but not Japanese by ethnicity or blood. If two people have different blood/race it’s interracial.
