Vaginal odour

I’m struggling with odour down there, I’m scared about getting it tested as I would have to tell my mum and don’t have great self confidence to do so. Hitting the age where doing things with boys will come up rather soon and quite concous about it. Some days it doesn’t smell but others it does, but yet again I am quite active so don’t know if it could be down to sweat at all?? Can anyone suggest what I should do?
