i’m two weeks postpartum and i passed this blood clot. is this normal? i’ve never passed this big of a blood clot with my last pregnancy 2 years ago:

I passed one very similar in size to this on Sunday (1 week PP). My other half called the non-emergency medical line we have in the UK who sent an ambulance (just to be on the safe side).
I was monitored at hopsital for a bit but the bleeding subsided pretty quickly. I was advised if the bleeding continued and was heavier than previously experienced it could be the sign of an issue but if you’re not having excessive bleeding it may just be a clot that’s pooled as a result of sitting etc. 
I would still get checked over though just to be sure xx

I had this a few days after delivery while I was in the hospital. Since it’s been two weeks, I would call my doctor to make sure everything is okay.

I had a mich bigger blood clot after my first delivery but they said it was normal because I had just been sitting for a while and it pooled up. It just happened the ince and I didnt bleed a whole lot after that so they weren't worried. But def call if you're worried about it so you feel better!

If it’s as big as a golf ball or half dollar, it definitely warrants a call to your doctor or after hours nurse on call line.
