Good price for Officiant/DJ?!

I came across a friend of my moms who is a DJ & ordained minister. He quoted us $500 to marry us as well as DJ our wedding for 4 hours. What do you ladies think? Is this a fair price? This is my first quote, but we are very picky on who we trust.

The DJ for my sister’s wedding was $1500 for 3 hours.

Here’s the thing just because the person is an officiant and a DJ doesn’t mean they’re good at it. Although it made be a good price if may be in your best interest to pay a little more to have a better outcome.
Example: my cousins friends father is an officiant. He married her and her husband for free and he was absolutely terrible. He was reading off of his phone, you couldn’t hear him and he stuttered and had mispronunciations through the ceremony. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
