Where did my mojo go?

So I’m 47 & although everyone says I look good for my age, I actually feel invisible right now & have had no sex drive for over four years. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve not met anyone, or is that it for me? Just wondered if anyone else in my age had been feeling the same .. 💕

I hear you loud and clear . I’m 47 and going to be 48 in a month ugh. Anyway I’ve been in a healthy relationship with my guy for 3 yrs now but for the last yr I haven’t been into sex, I have no sex drive and it’s not that I’m not attracted to my boyfriend because I really am I just don’t know what happened. I used to jump his bones all the time our sex life was amazing we experienced and tried new things to using toys and different positions it was just mind blowing . I think a big part or it’s definitely playing a roll was my mom passing away last yr. My life did a complete 360 and I have more stress and responsibilities then I was prepared for especially being a home owner and trying to pay a mortgage and all the rest of the bills( my boyfriend and I do together) but it’s still hard. So needless to say I’ve been so preoccupied since my mom got sick a year ago and stopped going to the gym and have been eating crappy food which led me into feeling undesirable and not sexy which I did feel desirable and sexy at one time . My boyfriend has been so great about it and has been very patient and doesn’t want to upset me. It’s not fair to him or me. I know I need to start putting myself first and start getting back to that amazing feeling I had about
myself I know 100% that once I start feeling better about myself my world will start changing for the better, for my sex life, general attitude and just overall for everything. I know for me it’s me needing to take care of me and things will start getting better. So try and go out there and date or do things for yourself that will make you feel better!! So it’s not you, maybe your just in a funk like I am . I’m still taking baby steps to get better and feel better. I never thought I would lose my sex drive but so many factors can contribute to that and I just want it back!! Not sure if this helped at all but just know you’re not the only one!! 😊
