Threesomes, orgies etc. are “kinks” BDSM is Bondage, Discipline, Sadism, Masochism. Some words can be substituted now days domination and submission. Now you can very well be into BDSM and have other kinks on top of that though. There are so so so many aspects to this lifestyle sometimes I can’t keep track of the proper terms etc. however you don’t need to be into threesomes and orgies to be a true kinky person I promise there are like a million different kinks in the world lol.

Dont take much advice very seriously from anyone thats an elitist or talks about "One True Way". BDSM is a tiny little acronym for a very enormous spectrum of things and this differs a bit from person to person/ couple to couple/ group to group. If you get anyone trying to tell you it all fits in one small box, be prepared to limit or filter how much of their advice you take seriously. They may still have plenty of knowledge or good advice about specific things but what you need or are drawn to  to get the most of your experiences can be very different than what they limit or confine BDSM to in their own mind.
