What have you done for research that made you realize maybe you're a little too invested in your book?
For example, I'm currently experiencing some mild anxiety fro. writing a character who is having an attack. I (a good swimmer), had to practice how to drown over the summer for a future project. I'm going to be learning how to ride a horse soon, and I almost dyed my hair to see which method worked best.
