My daughter is a year and a half old and she recently found her love for running EVERYWHERE! She just got back from her grandparents today when I noticed her tooth looked a little shorter than usual. It’s been bugging me all day and everyone told me it was always that way.

Nope!

Took her in and confirmed her tooth straight chipped, completely across the entire bottom of her tooth.

Her gums aren’t swollen and she seems to eat just fine despite this, but I can’t help but feel awful! I know the tooth will fall out and her permanent one will come through later in life but I’m still so worried.

I don’t know if any damage was done to the gums, we didn’t get an X-ray. And as selfish as it sounds, I’m so worried about her being bullied by other kids for this. I have pretty gapped teeth myself and I was horribly bullied over it and I just don’t want my daughter to suffer through this.

Im an anxious mess, have any other moms experienced this? 😭
