If you let baby fall asleep on their own how did you get to that point?
I’m still nursing to sleep, or holding baby until they fall asleep. He puts himself to sleep occasionally during the night but he’s almost 8 months now and I feel like I need to be trying to move past these methods because they aren’t helpful to him really....

I feed or hold to sleep. I’m not going to stop. That’s his comfort and I’m not going to take that away from him until he’s ready. But that’s what works for us

theres nothing wrong with nursing or rocking your baby to sleep, it's actually the biological norm

My baby wakes up from her afternoon nap at about 3pm and will stay awake until 7pm,so at that time I get her ready for bed, bath (not every night we bath the kids every other night) she has her milk at 7:30 and goes straight in her cot afterwards. Since she's gone into her own bedroom she's much better and settled herself into a routine. I put her down give her a kiss and leave the room. Within minutes she's fast asleep

As long as my baby has his pacifier in his mouth he can fall asleep. It’s just what we’ve always done. It used to be pacifier and white noise but now its just pacifier.  
Now he can’t sleep if we are in his room as we are too distracting and he gets excited 😂

We sleep trained. I know it isn’t for everyone, but it truly changed our lives. I had always nursed to sleep and it got to the point we were bedsharing because she was waking so frequently.

We sleep trained because my little one would feed to sleep then wake up multiple times a night needing to be rocked to sleep. Now she goes in her crib awake and puts herself to sleep.

We did CIO two weeks ago at 6.5 months and it was the best thing we did and my baby was obviously ready for it. She cried the first night for six minutes and that was literally it. I now lay her down wide awake and she doesn’t cry at all just goes to sleep. She doesn’t want to nurse to sleep anymore, she just wants to play and interact so nursing/rocking isn’t even an option for us at this point.

I started putting him in his crib as he was falling asleep. Now I can give him his bottle to drink and when he’s finished put him in his crib with his nuk and sound machine on (doesn’t need it but it drowns our the 3 year old lol) And he ll go to sleep after a little bit
