A Little Hope for You All!

This community has been amazing to me in the last year and then some since we started TTC and was diagnosed with PCOS. I had a very early miscarriage in January 2018, before we were trying and before I knew I was pregnant. We started trying in September of last year and I got by BFP almost 2 weeks ago.

I did 5 rounds of Femara and *maybe* ovulated 2 cycles. The OPK test line was about the same shade as control, but never darker. She started me at 2.5mg CD3-7, then increased to 5mg CD3-7. She started with Femara because women with PCOS tend to have better luck.

I have been on Metformin since December 2018. I have been on 1500mg XR daily for several months. I'm also taking prenatals. I have been trying to be more active, eat healthier, and drink more water, but am still very overweight. My period has been regular since I started seeing my OBGYN for treatment last September.

This cycle, my doctor asked me if I wanted to try Clomid. I decided to try it. I got a blaringly positive OPK on CD 13 and I got my first vvfl at 10dpo.

This cycle, I did the hysterosalpingogram (HSG) test in radiology. My uterus was normal and both tubes open. The radiologist pumped a bunch of extra fluid through, as women have been known to get pregnant afterwards.

This cycle, my husband did his semen analysis and it came back normal.

I share my story to inspire hope. I spent hours scrolling through these boards trying to hear about women similar to me who were successful. I haven't had my first appointment yet and I'm only 5 weeks pregnant. But I'm pregnant and that's huge for me.
