I’m a stay at home mom and full time student. I spend 12 hours a week at school and any time that I’m not at school is spent with my kids. Even weekends when my Husband is off I still don’t get a break. Anyways I shared an article that was talking about how hard staying at home with kids is and a family member made it a point to say something like “when I was growing up women stayed home took care of the kids, cooked and cleaned and all that with no problem. I’m not sure what’s changed. I would’ve loved to stay home with my kids, but I guess I was just born to do that” Then she went on to say how my mom always said “leave those kids where they’re at” (meaning don’t have kids)

Mind you j was grown and moved out when I had any. I felt like her comment was passive aggressive and rude. When I shared the post I said how hard it is but that I’m also blessed to be able to stay home and focus on school. Her comment just pissed me off
