I see a lot of worry. Panic about test results and progression lines, concern over symptoms and lack of symptoms, general anxiety about miscarriage. So...
I'd just like to remind you all to breathe. (Go ahead, I'll wait)
Isn't it exciting to be here on this app, in this group, in this place in our lives. We're so lucky to have gotten to this point in our pregnancy. Just today. Tomorrow will come one way or another, but today be grateful.
Miscarriage impacts way too many women, but it's a part of the process of building a family. It's not separate, but part of it. It makes sense that it's on your mind, especially for those of you who have suffered a loss before, but is that really where you want your focus to be? On the negative? Look at what you've accomplished so far and focus on channeling positivity and love to the life that you've started. The one that exists today.
Of course you don't want anything bad to happen with this pregnancy, but focusing on the bad won't ward it off. So take a breath, smile at your success, and send some loving warmth and protection to your bean.
