Anyone’s little one not stop feeding ?

They say you can’t overfeed but my little girl is 1 month and has never voluntarily stopped nursing or stopped drinking a bottle..... does this mean she’s overeating?

Cluster feeding is normal in the beginning but it is certainly possible for babies to not know when to stop. My daughter comfort eats. Sleepy=Eat. Gassy=Eat. Dirty diaper=Eat. I have to really pay attention to when and how much she eats so I can gauge if she’s hungry or if she’s just uncomfortable. If I don’t she will eat until she yaks.

Cluster feeding is pretty typical around one month as your LO is about to have their first leap (growth spurt). Cluster feeding will tell your body to start producing more as your LO is growing! Can be very exhausting for you momma but keep on going!

If she is having gas problems or is throwing up (not spit up) then you are feeding too much. Babies know when to stop, they will stop on there own, well most will. That's what my sons doctor told us. My sone is 6 weeks today n he is at 4oz every 3 to 4 hours
