FLASHBACK to when Leila & Vance first met.

In 2013, when the northern branch was given over to Vance they needed a couple of interns during the summer. Leila was a junior & heading into her senior year. She needed experience in the business field since she was majoring in business. She learned in an opportunity opening up & she jumped to it. She was chosen to intern for Vance Phillips & was 1 of 10 interns. All the interns made their way to the business meeting where they go to sit in with all the big name men & women of that company. A couple of girl interns swooned over Vance. But only one girl caught his eye that day, Leila Richardson. She had her head in her binder & when she finally looked up from writing notes, she noticed Vance was looking at her as he spoke. After the business meeting, Vance took her aside & asked if she could be his personal intern. She agreed to it although she was a bit nervous. Just as they explained to Vance’s family, they got closer & closer & closer. The summer went by quickly as many of the interns ran errands, made phone calls, scheduled meeting times, etc. Everyone knew that Leila was the boss’s favorite. She didn’t have to run for coffee, she didn’t have to run across town for errands. She had her own office adjacent to Vance’s. None of the other interns dared to disrespect her in fear of losing their internship. After a couple of months, Vance went on a business trip to Europe. And he asked Leila along with 2 colleagues to join him. This is where he & Leila did the dirty. He called her up to his room where he had roses & champagne. Leila fell in love with him. He wined & dined her for a whole year during her senior year & the day she graduated, he asked her to be his official girlfriend. Leila was his first girlfriend. She meant so much to Vance.

Present day, Leila & Vance have been dating for 5 years & Leila wondered why Vance hadn’t popped the question yet. Her parents were waiting, his parents were waiting. It took a year for them have even a title to their relationship & it took 5 years to meet his family. Vance was slow in the bedroom & even slower in aspects of his life.
