Do you think social media bad?

I've been feeling very conflicted about social media lately. With the whole face tune and drama, it makes me really want to delete my social media. Does anyone else feel the same? I feel like social media is such a negative thing now!

Social media isnt bad, but a lot of people that use it are.

I think Facebook and Instagram are very toxic. Facebook seems to have alot of people who are bullies or can't handle a difference in opinion. Instagram is full of people who photoshop their photos which can cause low self esteem in others, especially young girls.

They are definitely bad, our generation is significantly more depressed than it ever has been. Social media definitely plays some part in that, Ive seen firsthand so many times how toxic people are on Instagram and Twitter it’s so much bullying and negativity. We all sit on our phones staring at the screen for hours instead of going out, doing physical activity, talking to people face to face etc all the things that keep your brain and body healthy

Personally I think Instagram and YouTube have become very toxic places. There's always some good people ( friends and family ) but I also feel like so many people on the platforms are just doing anything for money and it upsets me that it's rubbing off on children!

I got rid of it and I'm so happy.   Waste of time. I don't want or need to know what ppl are doing all day ever day. I enjoy being disconnected🤣it's almost empowering that ppl have to actually contact me to have a relationship with me. I like life b4 social media and im one of the few who chooses to live that way.
