i need suggestions!! whenever its time for my son to do tummy time all he does is stuff his face into the carpet or sheet! doesnt want to lift his head or anything!

he has good head control and neck strength when hes sitting on my lap or when hes sitting in a support me seat, but he does lean forward a bit after a while.

he is very interested in food and always watches me and his dad very closely every meal. so i want to start baby food next month but i want to be sure he has good core control to sit on his own in a high chair and better head/neck strength.

any suggestions to help him build those up by next month?? thanks!
