Did you switch to nipple 2 when your LO turned 3 months?

Today my LO is 3 months, I switched to my new nipples but man he drinks it sooo quick! He choked the first 10 seconds then he was fine but wondering if I switched to soon even tho my nipples say 3 plus months

We switched at 8 weeks, my boy kept falling asleep from the effort it took him for finishing a bottle

We swapped about 9 weeks. He was toeing sucking the size 1 teat but now feds much better.

I have the avent bottles and I use the size 2 and he’ll be 3 months on the 30th. He does pretty good with it been using them for a week now I also still use some of the size 1s he just eats those ones slower

Mine still uses the slowest flow nipple, I think it’s a 0 in Tommee teepee and a 1 in all other brands. I’ve tried moving her up but she just chokes and freaks out. She’s 3 months old

Mine is 4 months and a few days and I still use size 1. She seems good with it honestly, eats fine, no real issues or fussing, although I think it’s about time to switch any day now. She does eat frequently. She was EBF until recently. She’s bigger, over 16 pounds. I feel like they’ll let us know when they’re ready- if they’re getting frustrated while eating, etc., or choking then you’ll know either way.

You’ll know when it’s time! My girl was born July 3rd and we just switched to size 2. When we tried a couple weeks ago she was chugging and gasping. I would try it out once a week and you’ll know when it seems right. The size 2 still seems a touch fast so I have been stopping to burp her more frequently

I switch at 3 month old, but my baby was ready. I keep the smaller gauge at night so that he drink slower while I pump tho. He is ok with both.
