PMDD- Anyone else?

Hi all- I was diagnosed with PMDD when I was 14. Just wondering if there’s anyone else on this app that struggles with this terrible diagnosis? Looking for people to relate to and hopefully make some friends who “get it”. 🖤

I was diagnosed when I was 17. That was 11 years ago. I was diagnosed with that as well as dysmenorrhea. Almost five years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS after a cyst that I didn't even know I had, had ruptured. It's pretty awful, especially since most people don't understand, even other women.

I was diagnosed with PMDD when I was 15/16 shortly after I got discharged from inpatient, I’ve always found it impossible to manage but since being on the contraceptive pill it’s allowed me to prepare for when I might start getting the symptoms again, I’ve always struggled with getting out of the depressive episode after/during my period. Me and my boyfriend have called this the “PMDD hole”
