Confused about my birth control!!

Please help me... I just had my period 6 days ago and I got it again. Has this happened to anyone else with a new birth control? I'm in the pop because I've had high blood pressure in the last 6 months. I'm just frustrated, if it's not my period I'm spotting. Any advice?
