UGH help moms... Get pack n pay mattress or move crib into room now?

Question

I CANNT DECIDE. My baby has out grown his bassinet basically. Online (FTM???) Says they can sleep in a bassinet for 6 months. So I'm thinking of getting mattress for pack n play to use the bassinet feature for 3 more months so its easier to reach him during the night if he wakes up... But either way were gonna have to move the crib into our room eventually right????? So I'm like whats the point.... But then I'm gonna have to get out of bed to get him in the middle of night... Maybe I'm just being lazy 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷
Soooooo indecisive... What are you guys doing?

Sorry friend, but your kiddo will be out of that bassinet soon. Size and ability to roll over are factors. Most kids are rolling or too big for the bassinet before 5 months. Just keep that in mind that it might be sooner rather than later. And I could be wrong but I think pack n play mattresses are considered too soft for safe sleep. Double check that last bit, but I thought I saw that a few months ago.

Why do you have to love the crib into your room? And I would not use a bassinet for 6 months. Or do you mean the option on pack n plays to have the mattress like a foot down rather than all the way st the bottom? By the time your baby outgrows it you'll want to drop it anyway because of the risk of sitting up/pulling themselves up unless you have a bigger baby so I dont think one would be harder than the other. Were using the pack n play until we move her to her room at 6/7 months. My husband may cry if I ask him to take down and put together the crib again lol

I wouldn’t move the crib just use the pack and play it’s what I’m using now

We started our daughter in the pack and play. The mattress had an option to be raised higher so it acted like a bassinet.  Once she rolled over the first time (at 12 weeks) we moved her to the crib. Her crib is still in our room but I think she likes it a whole lot better!

Our LO has been in his crib for about 4 weeks now as he’s pretty long and kept hitting the sides of the bassinet and it was disrupting his sleep.

My son outgrew his Moses basket by 2 1/2 months despite it saying 4-6 months online.  He’s not a big baby either, so I was really surprised!! 
We put the cot up in our room and he’s sleeping better since then. I have it pushed right against my side of the bed and hubby drilled a couple extra holes so one side of the bars are slightly lower (they are still plenty higher enough to stop him rolling out of bed etc.) meaning I don’t have to get up to get him in/out. 
I’m glad we did it this way because he’s got used to sleeping in his bed so hopefully the transition to his own room will be slightly easier.

My son sleeps in a pack and play but I didn’t get a mattress for him, it’s firm and comfortable enough
