Am i pregnant??

Question

So i had unprotected sex with my partner a day before i ovulated. a week after that i started feeling really lightheaded and had tender breasts and nausea. also my period is late for 5 days so i took a pregnancy test today which makes 19 dpo and it came back negative... should i wait later to re test ? any advice would be helpful !

My personal belief based on working with an infertility doc for over a year now is, if you know without a doubt when you ovulated hcg should be at a detectable range to show on a FRER sensitive test by at least 14-15dpo. Some ladies don’t know exact ovulation date so they get positives “later” but it’s most likely because they ovulated later. 
Worth retesting if you’re another week late.
