How does contraction feels?

Hi ! Okay now i’m 37+2 weeks. This is my second pregnancy but believe me i forgot how contraction feels like 😂 i kinda feel like my tummy tightening rn but i can’t confirm how it is and how to measure the timing because my first one was my water broke and i went straight to the hospital. Can somebody help and gimme advice? Thanks !

My stomach tightens (35 weeks) but it’s just Braxton Hicks. Just uncomfortable but not painful

I have never felt the tightening feeling a lot of women say the get. To me it was always just like really bad period cramps.

Period cramps. Or at least they start off like them, on and off cramps. They progress to the worst cramps ever,  and from there to a new thing you've not experienced before (kind of like the worst cramp ever in combination of needing to bear down to make the biggest poop of your life) where any position tends to be awful (i liked rocking personally but it was more of the only thing the helped distract me rather than helped eliminate pain)
I have irritating tightening sensation this pregnancy for months now, never with last one. I didn't feel my BH last time,  I do this time.
