Getting induced next Monday 😮 Advice?!

Original due date was 11/17, but I am getting induced on 10/28.  I will be 37 weeks and a few days. I’m so excited to meet my little babe but am really nervous to be induced. 
If you were induced, how did it go for you?!

I was induced with my second child. I loved every minute of it. It took it awhile to  Get things going. I chose to have no pain meds and towards the end it was hard, but I remember to breathe and remind myself I could do it and it the pain will stop soon.
I got the hospital at 7pm and had my son at 6:30pm the next day.

With my first I was induced at 41 weeks. Started at 9 am and didn’t have contractions until 5 PM and she was born at 9:30. I got an epidural and didn’t feel a thing, it was glorious 😂

I was inducted with my first and after 24 hours of labor I had to have a c section. They said its really common if you're induced before you're body starts labor on it's own so I'm hoping to not go that route this time

May I ask why you’re being induced? My midwife is worried about mild preeclampsia & had mentioned that I might need to be induced depending how my labs come back. Just wondering if this is your scenario & if you have advice if it is

I’ve been induced twice now and have my c section scheduled for this baby already. My body just doesn’t handle going into labor on its own very well. My best advice is to be okay with things changing. Inductions are harder and most people have their ideal birth plan fly out the window so just know you’ll have your sweet babe at the end and everything will be worth it.
