late but tests are negative??? please help!

So I’m 3 days late of my period. I took pregnancy tests to see if there was a chance but they all said negative? I’m so confused bc I’m never late!
Could it be this new medication my doctor prescribe me? I’m taking metronidazole for my lady part could that be inferring with my cycle?

Yes, antibiotics can screw with your cycle. If you go 14 days past your period, call your doctor. They may prescribe provera to induce a period

Some medication can delay periods, not sure if that’s one of them though. It’s natural to miss a period or so a year, can be lots of reasons for it. Illness, medication, diet, stress, lifestyle changes etc. Take another pregnancy test in a week to rule it out for sure though x
