Any other mommas have a two kids less than two years apart?

I have a 13.5 month old son and just found out a week and a half ago that we’re expecting another one June 17, 2020. So he will be around 22 months old when new baby gets here. Any advice on how it was? Please be 100% honest. I need to be as mentally prepared as possible. Oh to add to it we are still breastfeeding at night.

My daughter is almost 2.5 and my son just turned 1; I have a third due in 5 months so mine are close. Its hard right now because we do not share, everything's a tantrum, my daughter still isn't sleeping well, and they're both in diapers. So right now I'm like pulling my hair out. But my brothers and I were close in age as well and as we grew up it was awesome. We had similar interests, shared friends, and became each others good friends. So I'm just trying to keep my sanity for now and thinking of the bond they'll have as they grow!

The transition is hard from one to two, but have two girls so far and they’re 18 months apart. And my youngest and her brother will be 14 months apart we’re due in January

My first is 3 and my second is 21 months. They are about 19 months apart and due with my third in January so they will be 22 months apart. I recommend baby wearing in the beginning and letting your oldest help with everything even if it’s not perfect. As soon as the second is moving on there own things get tough bc then the oldest has to learn how to share. The last 6 months have been hard but they are finally acting like they like each other again and even laugh and play together now at times. I had to expect my three year old to grow up more and had to explain a lot about sharing and loving her brother, taking turns. 
Just remember to be patient, breathe and take a moment to calm down when they are both melting down because they feed off each other and just cry bc the other is crying. Set your daily expectations low and if things don’t go as planned just know it will be fine. It helps to know that each stage only lasts a little while and things get better. They won’t always need you so much.

My two are 20 months apart, the transition was much easier then I thought. My son is a very independent almost 2 year old and my daughter is a pretty easy baby though. My son was also still having a night feeding (bottle feed) until 15 months and then he started sleeping through. He is a great sleeper now and rarely wakes up when the baby does.

My kiddos are almost 22 months apart. It can be tough, but seems to get easier every month. Well, except for sleep regressions. They absolutely adore each other, my son likes to fetch her things and gives her 95% of his hugs and kisses and my daughter thinks he’s the absolute best entertainment and mopes when he goes down for a nap (I try to get her to take one, too, but🤷🏼‍♀️). I think the hardest part for me at first was making sure he got his energy out, so I tried to delegate that as much as possible. Also, getting some one on one time with him, but that’s better now that my daughter can actually survive without me for a few hours sometimes. But I still make sure to take the few minutes here and there during the day with him. Oh, if you can get them outside for a little while, it makes the entire day go better.

Mine are 18 months apart. It was really hard. He’s 10 months now and she’s nearly 2.5 and it’s still hard (but not as hard.) Baby carrying will be your savior. Take all the help you can get!

My babies are 17 months apart and usually are best friends. They are 2 and 3. It’s crazy at first by my oldest has always been good at playing by himself so while feeding my daughter he played with blocks.
