Too much fluid

Dana

I plan on asking dr this tomorrow, but I thought I'd see what you guys have had experience with or heard of. We believe I have tons of fluid because baby has been able to flip around still at 38w. No ultrasound to see as I'm scheduled for a csection so it "didnt matter"--drs words. But isnt it dangerous for your water to break if you have too much fluid because the cord can come flooding out with it? I'm hoping our boy cooperates and stays in until our csection day, but I am scared IF my water breaks at home beforehand...do we need to fly to L/D??? How critical of an emergency is this??
