My office is having a Team Halloween costume contest. Last year my team went as Pennywise and the kids from IT (we're the IT team, get it?) We came in 3rd place. This year we picked Stranger Things and I've been asked to be the demogorgan. I can't post on Facebook as I have a few friends from competing teams on there...

Soooo..... here is my costume so far!!!

I got a demogorgan hoodie from Amazon. I'm making the face based on a tutorials I found on YouTube.

I started with wire hangers, masking tape & shopping bags to form the "petals" then duct taped (tied several types of glue that didn't work) the petals to a mask. Once they were secure, I paper mached a few layers newspaper to help hide the tape and cover any seams. Then painted it. I made teeth out of Crayola Model Magic and painted them so they look a bit yellow.

I'll be painting the front and glueing on the teeth tomorrow after work. I'm so excited to see it all out together!!!

I added the teeth and painted the front!! So excited about how it turned out!!
