my baby is two weeks old. i breastfeed. he is attached to my boob literally 24/7. i get maybe an hour or two of him not latched to me throughout the whole day. he falls asleep latched to my boob, but as soon as i put him down he cries and puts his hands in his mouth like he’s hungry. am i not producing enough milk? when he falls asleep on my boob he literally drops milk down my side so i know i’m producing some still... i was pumping in the hospital but not as much now, definitely gonna start again.

i usually keep him on one boob the whole time he’s eating. do i need to be switching off during feedings? is it possible he’s sucking one dry and still hungry so i need to switch to the other one?
