I’m watching a doc series about genetic editing, and there’s so much controversy regarding if it is “playing god” or not. People have been doing genetic editing on dogs for decades, creating designer dogs that come with a whole list of health problems. But they’re now looking on how we could genetically engineer humans, and create a more superior human with heightened abilities (strength, health, life span). With that comes a list of cures for diseases such as HIV, and Cancer. Do you think this is playing god- or effecting population control? Just curious to see if others have thought about this 😅
