My little girl is almost 18 months and she strongly prefers her father. We both work full-time so we are around her basically the same amount. I do work more than he does in general so there have been a few daddy daughter days/evenings but in general we are both home with her at the same time. About a month or so ago, she decided only daddy can do the bedtime routine, soothe her if she wakes up at night or get her from her crib in the morning. I know it’s typical for a kiddo to favor one parent, but it doesn’t make it easier. We do mommy/baby things on the weekend sometime, just me and her. She’s fine with me when he’s not around.

Anyone else in the same boat?
