One MAD mama

Tonight I took my 17 month old son to a Halloween party at the nursing home i work at to raise money for our residents. They had buckets of Halloween candy set out for all of the kids to “trick or treat” out of. They had a cake walk with all sorts of candy baskets and prizes. This little girl who was at least 7/8 had won a candy basket. She sat the basket down right next to the basket of candy for kids to trick or treat from. My son, not knowing any better went to grab a piece of candy out of the wrong basket. He didn’t know any difference, he’s only 17 months and they were right next to each other, both filled with candy. As I bent down to correct him and put the candy back to have him get candy out of the right basket, the girls mom reach down, grabbed my sons arm, and yanked the candy out of his hand. SHE GRABBED MY SONS ARM OVER A MINIATURE KITKAT! I was so shocked at what had just happened all that I could get out of my mouth was “are you fucking serious right now” and the lady IGNORED ME!!! She looked at her daughter and said “get your candy and come on” I WAS LIVID. my son was laying on the floor SCREAMING CRYING. I had never seen this lady before in my life. (The party is open to the public, it’s a fundraiser for our residents). My son is not old enough to even know why this lady was taking his candy, let alone understand why a stranger is grabbing his arm and taking shit from him. WHY WOULD A GROWN ASS ADULT TOUCH ANOTHER PERSONS CHILD OVER A FUCKING PIECE OF HALLOWEEN CANDY!! My son didn’t know better and I was literally bending down next to him to correct him! I wouldn’t ever treat my son like that because he doesn’t know better!! He had been grabbing candy all night no big deal!! SO TO THAT LADY, I hope karma bites you in the ass!! and you better hope I don’t find out who you are!! (I’ve been asking all of my co workers if they know her)
