Reuaseable diapers

Hi guys, I'm not pregnant yet but I have a question for when the baby comes. Yes. It. Will. Come 😂

Anyways I've been wanting to use, or at least try to use reusable diapers but my husband REALLY REALLY REALLY doesn't want me to.

How can I convince him? 🤔

So he has very sensitive scent so I would be changing the baby 90% of the time anyways (puke hazard) AND I do the laundry so I feel like it's not really his choice.

But he says people will think it's weird

Update: I'm convinced I want to try it.. I told him all the pro's he just doesn't want it..

Apart from people finding it weird.. He also doesn't want pee or poo in our laundry machine.. But tbh.. I've washed our dog's cleaning rags in there with poo and pee.. And as we'd be using linnen take-out liners to catch the poo without having to touch it or wash it out over the toilet there will be very little poo in our machine but he isn't listening to any of my arguements.

Also not only buying diapers is expencive but also throwing them away in the trash is expencive. So that's a double cost we'd be saving..

Update2: I just tought of something..

Maybe I can just go out to buy 1.. And a doll and we practice with it. If it's still a problem (sigh 😩) I can still give it to the kids so they can 'practice' if they want to.. Or maybe they can just play with it...

Update 3: so I went looking for cheap tryout cloth diapers.. (to practice with on a doll as mentioned on update 2) Turns out.. Aliexpress offers cloth diapers for less than 4€ with REALLY good reviews..

So..

I thought these were more expencive.. Does this mean you can have diapers for a year.. On the price of diapers good for 2 weeks 😮😮😮😮😮😮

I have to get my husband onboard!
