So I dated this guy who is a year older than me off and on for four years now. I moved from where he is otherwise we wouldn't have had problems. We were talking for the past two weeks about trying to date again since we will both have our license soon. Last night he told me he didn't know if he wanted to date because being single felt good and that he needed to focus on friends. I respect that but do I wait or not? He hasn't really said anything about it. But our relationship is like I'm in a dream where I hear a noise behind a door and open it then get murdered and as I continue to have the dream I open the door every time hoping for a different ending but I just get hurt again and again. I think maybe his friends talked him into thinking what he had said. What do I do?
