Sugar pills??

Question

I was just wondering, the sugar pills, if you don't take them will they stop the birth control from working? Like, will not taking the sugar pills make taking the regular pills a complete waste of time, making them not work? Sorry if I'm not explaining it correctly. I really dunno how to put it.

No it won't, they just make sure you are taking your pill on time still when you start the next pack. I don't take my sugar pills most of the time, and I've been on the pill for over a year.
