So for the last two weeks, my 1.5 year of daughter cannot seem to fall asleep without her blanket over her head. I find it incredibly weird. It’s tatted off with just car rides and I assumed it was because of the sunlight, but she doesn’t have a night light in her room (she screams until it’s unplugged) and still insists on having the blanket over her head.

When she is asleep I tend to sneak in and pull it off her head because I’m afraid of her suffocating, but if she wakes up in the middle of the night she cannot be soothed back to sleep unless the blanket is back over her head

Has this happened to anyone else? Did they ever grow out of it?
