When I had my daughter I had 2nd degree tearing, with most of it being internal. I had my pp checkup at 5 weeks and the doctor said I was still healing where I had stitches and to wait 2 more weeks for sex. Waited the 2 weeks and tried but it was super painful so we decided to wait another week. We tried again last night and it was still too painful. It did start to ease up once I relaxed, but not enough to finish. So now I’m wondering if it’s because I’m not healed or if it’s always painful the first few times and it’s something I’ll just have to work through.
