Toddler bed or crib?

My daughter just turned two and we transferred her into a toddler bed. So far it has been working okay. Curious what everyone else is doing.

I'm a little late to this conversation but my 2 year old has been in a toddler bed since about 16-17 months ish and 2 weeks ago we just transitioned him to a full sized adult bed.... he was supposed to be due oct 31st but came early on sept 27th so he is 27 months now... he did great with both transitions... night 1 in a toddler bed he only got up once. night 2 he was up 5 times but i just kept taking him back and tucking him in and he caught on, havent had a problem since..... when we changed him to a Full sized bed two weeks ago he stayed the night with Nana while we  totally redid his whole room in Monster Trucks with wall decals and bedding and die cast trucks and lights.... so when he came home the next day and saw it he was so excited to go to bed. he loves his big boy bedroom!

Moved to a toddler bed as of today. My son figured out how to climb out of the crib even on the lowest level so to prevent him from hurting himself changed his crib to the toddler bed.

I’m due in 5 weeks and my daughter turned two last week. There is no way I’m ready to tackle a change in sleeping arrangements right now (or any other changes, like potty training). I’m hoping to keep her in her crib until close to 3, if possible. So far she’s still in a sleep sack which prevents her from even trying to climb out, so as long as that’s working, I’m gonna go with it. I need to make sure I have number two sleeping decently before I tackle a toddler bed with number one.

I’m due in June with baby #2, so I plan to switch my 2 year old to a toddler bed around March. He will be 2.5 then and I’m hoping he will be ready!
